Synopsis
After Noel decides to stay with Grey and enter the Wild Hunt, rather than taking the freedom offered by the creature at the altar, the two of them are trapped within the confines of a mansion in the Grand Capital with all but a single member of the Wild Hunt: their sciomancer, Cy.
She’s still missing. Which means there’s still time to escape.
Joined by the Hunt’s bright-eyed lithomancer, Jade, who jumps at the opportunity to help when she hears of Noel’s would-be-freedom, the three of them begin to construct an argument to bring before the wardens in exchange for the possibility of freedom. Though, not all of their fellow prey are as eager to assist in an attempt run from their fate.
With the Otherworld’s veil being its thinnest around the mansion, danger lurks in the halls, giving the Wild Hunt’s prey a taste of what they have to look forward to, should they fail.
